Paragraph 1: Definitions

In these Terms & Conditions, the following definitions apply:

  • Tap-In Tours Amsterdam ("Tap-In," "Tap-In Tours," "We," "Our," or "Us"): The organizer of the Beer Tours, registered at the Chamber of Commerce under numbers 93579837 (Nashomme) and 84984597 (ZuurVerdient) in Amsterdam.

  • Guide: The person conducting tours on behalf of Tap-In Tours.

  • Participant: The individual or entity entering into an agreement with Tap-In and participating in the Beer Tour.

  • Beer Tour(s): Specialized guided walking tour(s) through Amsterdam.

  • Ticket: The proof (electronic or non-electronic) granting entry to the Beer Tour.

  • Restaurant, Cafés, and Street Vendors: Providers involved in the Beer Tour, supplying food and beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic).

  • Conditions: These General Terms & Conditions.

Paragraph 2: Applicability and Modification of Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all offers and agreements between Tap-In and Participants, regardless of the means of agreement, unless explicitly stated otherwise by Tap-In.

By making a payment, the Participant confirms agreement with these Terms & Conditions. If a Participant books for a group, they are responsible for sharing these Terms & Conditions with the group.

The content of these Terms & Conditions may only be altered through a written agreement between Tap-In and the Participant.

Tap-In reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Amended Terms & Conditions apply from their effective date to all existing and future agreements, even if they were concluded before the amendment. If changes substantially alter the agreement, the Participant has the right to terminate the agreement within four (4) weeks after the relevant change takes effect.

Paragraph 3: Beer Tours

Tap-In reserves the right to adjust the content and route of the Beer Tour. Adjustments will align with Tap-In’s ideology and the original Beer Tour concept.

Tap-In may reschedule or cancel the Beer Tour. While Tap-In will attempt to inform Participants of changes as soon as possible, it cannot guarantee prior notification. If a comparable alternative is offered but is unsatisfactory, or if the Participant cannot attend on an alternate date or time, they are entitled to a full refund of the Ticket price.

Tap-In is not responsible for any additional costs, such as hotel or travel expenses. Participants must present their Ticket, either digitally or in print, at the request of a Tap-In Guide, and Tap-In may request identification if necessary.

Participants should familiarize themselves with instructions from Tap-In, including the start time, meeting point, and tour duration. Tap-In is not obligated to provide further information.

Participants must act respectfully during the Beer Tour and follow the terms of participating Restaurants, Cafés, and Street Vendors.

Paragraph 4: Beer Tours Safety

Participants fully understand and accept all risks associated with the Beer Tour, including exposure to unfavorable weather, potential food-related issues, and possible injuries.

If a Guide considers a Participant to be unfit for the Tour (e.g., due to intoxication, aggression, or disruptive behavior), they may refuse the Participant entry to the tour or ask them to leave. This refusal, made for safety reasons, is not grounds for a refund.

Paragraph 5: Punctuality

Participants are expected to arrive punctually. If they experience difficulty locating the starting point or are delayed, they should contact us at +31 6 44 33 94 93 (Gideon), +31 6 51 74 20 04 (Robbie), as well as via email: hello@tapintoursamsterdam.nl.

In the event of lateness and lack of contact, the guide will consider the Participant a "no-show," and the reservation will be canceled. Please note that late arrivals or "no-shows" do not qualify for a refund.

Paragraph 6: Establishment Agreement

The agreement is concluded when the Participant pays for a Beer Tour Ticket. An automated confirmation of receipt does not confer rights. Tap-In may reject a Participant’s order or add conditions to the agreement’s conclusion without providing reasons. If an order is not accepted, Tap-In will notify the Participant within five (5) business days. If payment has already been made, it will be refunded.

Paragraph 7: Data & Privacy

The Participant must provide accurate contact information when entering the agreement. Tap-In will handle all agreement-related communications through the provided email address.

Tap-In processes the Participant’s personal data in accordance with relevant laws. This data is stored for administrative and commercial purposes. The Participant consents to being photographed or filmed during the Beer Tour, with materials used for promotional purposes. Participants who do not wish to be photographed should notify Tap-In at hello@tapintoursamsterdam.nl.

Paragraph 8: Booking Procedure & Payment

Participants can book a Beer Tour up to six (6) months in advance via www.tapintoursamsterdam.nl, email, or a third-party booking platform. Payment must be made in advance. Prices are in euros, inclusive of VAT, and are subject to change. If payment is not received on time, Tap-In reserves the right to cancel the booking.

Paragraph 9: Tickets

Tickets will be emailed to the Participant. Participants must check their Ticket for accuracy and inform Tap-In of any discrepancies within 24 hours. Tickets are valid only for the specified date, and expired tickets are non-refundable.

Tickets may not be resold or used for commercial purposes without Tap-In’s permission. Each Ticket is valid for a single use only, granting access to the Beer Tour for the first individual who presents it.

Paragraph 10: Weather & Force Majeure

Tours proceed regardless of weather; Participants should dress accordingly. Poor weather does not warrant cancellation unless it hinders walking or poses safety risks. In such cases, Tap-In will offer a full refund. Refunds are unavailable if Participants choose not to attend due to poor weather.

If Tap-In cannot conduct the Beer Tour due to force majeure (e.g., vendor unavailability, strikes), Tap-In is not obligated to compensate the Participant beyond the Ticket cost.

Paragraph 11: Cancellations & Rescheduling

Participants may cancel free of charge up to 7 days before the tour. A 50% cancellation fee applies to cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours before the tour. No refund is available for cancellations made within 48 hours, for non-arrivals, or for late arrivals.

Rescheduling is free if done more than 48 hours before the tour; after that, rescheduling is no longer possible.

All requests regarding canceling or rescheduling your tour must be sent to hello@tapintoursamsterdam.nl.

Paragraph 12: Obligations of the Participant

The Participant acknowledges that they will participate in a walking tour and confirms they can walk a reasonable distance (up to 3.5 km). If other transportation is used during the tour, such as taxis, trams, or buses, the Participant agrees to cover those costs.

As the tour takes place in public areas, Participants should follow local pedestrian regulations and abide by all reasonable instructions from Tap-In. Participants are prohibited from:

  • Starting the Tour under the influence of alcohol or drugs,

  • Consuming alcohol outside designated tour stops,

  • Bringing or consuming drugs of any kind,

  • Behaving aggressively or harassing others,

  • Hindering Tap-In Guides from fulfilling their duties.

Paragraph 13: Responsibility / Liability

Participation is at the Participant’s own risk. Tap-In is not liable for accidents, damages, or injuries occurring during or while traveling to or from the Beer Tour.

Tap-In is not responsible for products or services provided by participating vendors or incorrect information on the Tap-In website. Participants are liable for any damage caused to property during the tour.

Paragraph 14: Applicable Law and Competent Court

Dutch law exclusively governs this agreement and these Terms & Conditions. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam.
