Tap-In Tours focuses on providing a local, authentic experience in Amsterdam. Unlike typical tourist hotspots, we introduce you to vibrant communities, craft beers, and cultural insights that truly reflect the heart and soul of Amsterdam.
We offer small-scale walking tours and for a fixed price, you'll enjoy a three-hour all-inclusive guided tour, including at least 4 delightful Amsterdam craft beers and some Dutch bar snacks. We provide recommendations and cover the cost of your first 4 drinks, but you're free to choose any beer, non-alcoholic beer, or other drink you'd like to try!
Our tours typically last around 3 hours, depending on the group size and pace. We ensure there’s enough time to explore the neighborhoods, taste some local craft beers, and enjoy meaningful insights into Amsterdam’s culture.

While our tours focus on Amsterdam’s craft beer scene, children are welcome if accompanied by adults. However, please note that the primary focus is on beer and neighborhood exploration, so it might be only enjoyable for adults. Needless to say, under no circumstances do we allow people under 18 to drink alcohol.
Absolutely! After the guided portion of the tour, you’re free to select the beers or other drinks you’d like to sample. Our guides will offer recommendations based on your preferences, but you have the freedom to choose any drink you want!
We explore the vibrant neighborhood of De Pijp, located close to the city center. De Pijp is known for its rich culture, local charm, and unique atmosphere. This neighborhood is considered the true heart of Amsterdam – the city center for real Amsterdammers.
Currently, our tours are conducted in English. However, both of us, Gideon and Robert-Jan, speak Dutch and are happy to clarify or answer questions in Dutch during the tour.
Amsterdam weather can be unpredictable, but our tours run rain or shine! We recommend dressing appropriately for the weather and bringing an umbrella or rain jacket. If the weather is particularly extreme, we will notify you about any possible changes to the tour schedule.
While our walking tours are generally leisurely, some parts of the neighborhoods may involve uneven cobblestones or narrow streets. Please contact us in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate any specific mobility needs.
The tour price includes:
1 - Your local friend, Gideon or Robbie, will guide you to help you discover Amsterdam. 2 - A great way to meet new people, make friends and feel like a local in this amazing city. 3 - You’ll visit different local breweries and pubs, enjoying at least four of the finest Amsterdam craft beers.
4 - A chance to try some of the best and most unique Dutch bar snacks during the tour. 5 - You'll get to walk around 3.000 steps too ;-)

You may reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours before the tour. After that, rescheduling is no longer possible.
All requests regarding canceling or rescheduling your tour must be sent to hello@tapintoursamsterdam.nl.
You may cancel free of charge up to 7 days before the tour.
A 50% cancellation fee applies to cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours before the tour.
No refund is available for cancellations made within 48 hours, for non-arrivals, or for late arrivals.
